Itinerary
This ATV tour to Huaypo and Piuray lakes starts at 7:00 a.m. when we pick you up from your hotel to travel by our touristic transportation towards Cruzpata (50 minutes).
At this place, we will have a brief explanation by our official tour guide, who will give us the necessary indications to enjoy the most of this adrenaline-filled day. Also, you will have 15 minutes for quad bike’s riding practice (if you don’t feel able to ride them, you can go as co-rider and still enjoy this experience).
Then, we will start riding the ATVs through a dirt road full of beautiful landscapes on the way to Huaypo lake. Here, we will make a stop to rest and enjoy the spectacular view around this gorgeous lake.
If we are lucky, we might see some villagers practising artisanal fishing in this place!
Afterwards, we will carry on our adventure passing through the historical Chinchero town until we reach the second lake of the day, Piuray. In this amazing place, we will see migratory birds that fly to these areas to catch fish and insects. Furthermore, you will have enough time to rest for a while and take pictures of this environment.
Then, we will keep on our ATV ride to reach an amazing viewpoint, from where you can see five amazing snow-capped mountains.
Finally, we will ride back through the same road until Cruzpata, where we can clean up and rest for a while before boarding the transportation to Cusco city. By the way, if you book a private service, we will drop you off at your hotel but if you book a group service, the end of our services will be at San Francisco square.
We will arrive at 13:00 hours approx.
