Itinerary
This unforgettable Machu Picchu full day tour will start very early (3:00 a.m.), when our driver will pick you up from your hotel to travel by touristic transportation for two hours until arriving at Ollantaytambo train station. Where you will board the touristic train at 5:00 a.m.
This experience of travelling by train is not boring at all, because on the way you will be able to appreciate from your seat many hidden surprises, such as La Veronica snow-capped mountain, the beginning of the 4-day Inca trail, farming fields, cedar trees and many archaeological sites (Wiñaywayna, …)
After 1 hour and 40 minutes, you will arrive to Machupicchu Pueblo station, where you will meet our tour guide, who will welcome you to go together to take the touristic bus towards the entrance gate of the Historical Sanctuary, Machupicchu (30 minutes).
IMPORTANT: Bring your passport or ID card with you; it will be necessary for entering into this Peruvian wonder!
Once you are inside, one of your best experiences will begin, owing to you will visit the most iconic sites of this world heritage site. Beginning by visiting the guardian’s house, passing through the sacred square, the quarry area and the sacred stone, and ending with the water mirrors or the temple of the condor.
Furthermore, you will have free time to take lots of photos!
After enjoying our fascinating guided tour, you will board the touristic bus back to Machupicchu Pueblo. Here you will find many restaurants of Peruvian, fusion, Italian and more varieties of cuisine.
At 6:00 p.m. you will take the train back to Ollantaytambo, where our driver will be waiting for you to pick you up and keep traveling by car to your hotel in Cusco. Arriving at 10 p.m. approx.
