FAQ'S
- Will I have problems with altitude sickness during the hike to Rainbow Mountain?
If you live at sea level, we recommend you before doing this hiking journey, enjoy some tours in Cusco to acclimatize better to the highlands. However, if you live above 2,000 meters above sea level, half a day’s rest is enough. - Can I also visit the red valley?
You can visit it but only by our private hiking to the Rainbow Mountain. Meanwhile, the group service has limited time; therefore, you will not be able to enjoy the amazing red valley to the fullest. - Are there other colored mountains in Cusco?
Of course, there are more. There is the Palccoyo Mountain, which boasts three rainbow mountains and a forest of stones, an easy hiking path as well. Another option is the Pallayponcho Mountain, which has a variety of colors and Andean poncho shape.
Both destinations you can reach with us.
