Itinerary

This amazing tour in the Sacred Valley of the Incas will start by picking passengers up from their hotels at 8:00 a.m. to head by touristic transportation towards the picturesque Pisac town, where you will visit its archaeological complex that boasts the same name.
Here, you could appreciate several long agricultural terraces, the famous amarupunku, water fountains and a mountain that hold an surprising well-preserved ancient Inca cemetery. After free time to enjoy the views around, we will travel back to Pisac town to do some shopping in the local handicraft market.
Then, we will travel 1 hour on average towards Urubamba to have buffet lunch, which includes the best selection of typical Peruvian and Cusco’s cuisine. Meanwhile, you could breathe fresh air within the nature that embellishes this beautiful restaurant in the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
Afterwards, we will board the touristic transportation to travel for 30 minutes towards one of the best touristic towns in the world, Ollantaytambo. We will visit the stunning Inca’s religious area of the town. It consists of several high terraces, corn storehouses, ceremonial water fountains and the amazing temple of the sun.
This structure is made up of six huge blocks of reddish stone from a remote quarry, and this sacred valley tour will help you discover how a few human beings were able to move stones that weigh over 40 tons!
After one hour traveling by car, we will arrive at the last touristic attraction of the day, Chinchero. Here you will visit the palace of Tupac Inca Yupanqui (the Inca navigator), as well as Andean altars and many typical Andean streets and houses.
Before returning to Cusco, we will have the opportunity to visit a community center of Andean textile to learn more about this traditional economic activity. Finally we will arrive at your hotel in the city at 17:30 approx. End of the Sacred Valley of the Incas tour.

    Of course, you can do it. Only you need to contact us to inform our tour guide that you will need to stay in Ollantaytambo to board the train to Machupicchu.
  • If I book the hotel in the Sacred Valley, can I do this tour?
    It depends mainly on what type of Sacred Valley tour you book with us:
    • If you book the private tour, we can come to your hotel in the Sacred Valley of the Incas and pick you up to start the tour.
    • But if you book the group tour, you will not be able to visit some of the attractions listed in the itinerary.
  • Can I find handmade souvenirs during the Sacred Valley of the Incas tour?
    There are many handmade souvenirs in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, than in the city of Cusco. You can even haggle over prices!
